Recognizing that not all Bill of Ladings are linked to a system order, and that sites have traditionally used preprinted paper forms or generated Bill of Ladings on carrier websites—practices that introduce security vulnerabilities and financial risks—we 
have addressed these challenges. Additionally, manually executed Bill of Ladings are often difficult to access, typically requiring site-specific filing requests, scanning, faxing etc.. While AdvancedDock/AdvancedBOL users have long had the ability to digitally generate a manual Bill of Lading that is tracked and accessible within SAP, they have not been able to fully leverage eBOL capabilities—until now.
This advancement empowers shippers to provide carriers and consignees with digital Bill of Lading data, streamlining the logistics flow of information.
