Though you maybe generating Bill of ladings on a daily basis directly from SAP what you may not know is that the same Bill of lading you are generating from  SAP is also available manually for shipments originating in an external system or no System at all.

It used to be that shipping docks had a pad of blank BOLs that they would utilize, but why waste money if you already have the capability to print a standard company specific ( if needed) bill of lading, to add even mor flexibility its available either from a standard SAP screen or web browser or from within our shipping manager iPad app.

Since environments vary we’ll walk through doing his directly in an SAP screen and then show you the web based application.

Access the Manual BOl screen from the menu or via transaction code.

Advance Ship Execute menu
Enter the consignee details

Select billing options

Enter handling units being shipped

Special instructions

Select record function, note depending on your settings it might be that all Bill of lading must be recorded and his option is disabled.

Print and save or print.

What if I have to change one?

What if I want to record he costs?

The options are limitless………..

Lastly when you need personnel to generate Bill of Ladings that do not normally access SAP you access the BOL2 screen via a web browser and the options are all the same.
