Do we really need SAP for the iPhone?

Last week SAP announced an agreement with Sybase that will allow SAP to run on a iPhone or blackberry. My gut tells me that this is a non-event as SAP already had several options to address the devices mentioned, albeit the announcement seemed to focus attention on the iPhone.

SAPgui Exploit

Probably not a typical post but just want to get the word out since this maybe important to SAPgui users. Last year an exploit was found with SAPgui that allows a A exploit security hole has been found in SAPgui version before 7.10 patch 12.

SAP MAPI we didn’t know we would miss you

I came across a question that I had to investigate for a client’s upgrade to the latest SAPgui level. In previous version of SAPgui you may have noticed when installing SAPgui that one of the options was SAP Outlook integration, did you ever wonder what it was? Interestingly enough until recently I had not dealt with anyone using it except other consultants such as myself.
